2008 RUSD Science Fair Winners of the USDA Bridges Award for Environmental Research spent a "Day in the Lab" March 8, 2008 at UCR.  They toured Dr. Walker's lab and the USDA Salinity Laboratory located on the UCR campus.  Our USDA host was Dr. Scott Bradford, a staff scientist.

9/20/07 Juan and Yasmine presented their summer research progress to RCC students and faculty as part of the Building Bridges Seminar Series!

 

August 2007 Juan and Yasmine presented their summer research at the UCR Summer Undergraduate Research Symposium.  Their proud families attended this event (as did a very proud Dr. Smith!)

2007 RUSD Science Fair Winners of the USDA Bridges Award for Environmental Research spent a "Day in the Lab" March 3, 2007 at UCR.  They toured Dr. Walker's lab and the USDA Salinity Laboratory located on the UCR campus.  Our USDA host was Dr. Scott Bradford, a staff scientist.   Pictured on top is Dr. Bradford speaking to the group and assisting a student in the lab.  In the lower pictures you see our Science Fair Winners hard at work testing the quality of water samples they had brought with them.  Pictured below is the entire group of Science Fair Winners and their families after a successful "Day in the Lab".
